Charles Edward Naughton was born February 25, 1933 in Gainesville, Texas, the son of Edgar Xavier Naughton and Goldie Mae Bell Naughton.
Charles married Mary Jo Schad on October 2, 1952. Their first date had been to the State Fair of Texas, and through their 66 years of marriage, they celebrated every anniversary by going back to the State Fair of Texas.
The Naughtons began their family in Gainesville and then moved to North Richland Hills in 1970. After retirement, they moved to St. Francis Village in Crowley, where they spent more than 12 years enjoying the wildlife and beautiful views of the lake. Even better than the views were the amazing friends they made and enjoyed.
