Service:

Mass of Christian Burial: 10 AM Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Fort Worth.

Rosary: 7 PM Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Thompson Harveson and Cole.

Funeral service: 10 AM Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the funeral home.

Interment: 1 PM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Juan Manuel (Meme) Perez passed away, Thursday, January 18, 2018 in Fort Worth.

Juan was born March 21, 1925 in San Benito, TX to Juan Manuel Perez, Sr. and Maria Guadalupe Trevino. He married Violet Pease in 1961. They were married for 56 years and she preceded him in death by one day. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot during WWII. Returning from Europe he trained student pilots for 2 years before his honorable discharge. Juan attended the University of Texas-Austin receiving a BS in Aeronautical Engineering. He was employed at General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin and worked on F-111 and F-16 aircraft, retiring in 1983.

Survivors: Brother, Arturo T. Perez of Coatzacoalcos, Mexico; Sisters, Minerva Leathem of Ashburn, VA, Dalinda Bernal of Kingwood, TX, and Gracie Bocanegra of Fort Worth, TX; two step-children, Jerry Baker and Betty Lane; and numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
