Linda A. Burns passed peacefully into the arms of her loving heavenly Father on July 1, 2018, after a long but faith filled struggle with Alzheimer’s.
Linda was born January 18, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas and spent her youth there until moving to Dallas. She began her career in Education after graduating from college and continued to teach until her marriage in 1971. She returned to education after several years and retired from St. Andrew Catholic School after more than 30 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved her family with all her heart. She was an inspiration to us all as she dealt with her disease over the years. The family wishes to express it’s sincere thanks to the many friends and family who gave her their support and prayers over the years, with a very special thanks to her number one caregiver, Jan Roth ! We couldn’t have made it thru this difficult time without all of your prayers an support.
She has left a hole in all our hearts and we will miss her and her amazing smile but we know we shall be with her again some day.
Farewell Beautiful !!
Survivors: Linda is survived by her husband, Michael; her daughters, Dawn and husband, Chad, and Kimberly and husband, Richard; and three grandchildren, Rachel, Robert and Lena.
