Robert (Bob) Paukner was born March 10, 1936 and passed away November 02, 2017, at Trinity Mission in Burleson, Texas with his wife, Ruthie, by his bedside.
Bob served four years in the United States Navy and graduated from North Texas State University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Arts. He taught Industrial Arts at Shackleford Jr. High School for years until he started his own wood crafting business.
Bob was a gifted craftsman and blessed many people with his beautiful handiwork. He was also a talented mechanic and enjoyed restoring a 1978 Fiat.
Bob and Ruthie built their own home in the mountains of Colorado in Cripple Creek, where they lived for several years until they returned to Texas.
Never meeting a stranger, he engaged many people with his jokes, followed by an invitation to a Bible study.
Bob and Ruthie enjoyed the few years they babysat their young granddaughters, Allison and Emma.
He treasured his wife Ruthie and loved to hear her singing in church or at a Bible study.
Bob is survived by his wife, Ruthie Paukner; his two daughters, Jennifer Paukner and Ashley (Derek) Bingham; two granddaughters, Allison and Emma Bingham; two stepsons, Curtis (Liz) Greene and Gary (LuAnn) Greene; two step-grandchildren, Melissa (Chad) Mayr and Andrew (Karen) Greene; eight step-great-grandchildren; and one nephew, Roy Jennings.
