Jack Tarvin Jr. died early Thursday morning, July 27, 2017.
Jack Tarvin Jr. was born on June 18, 1948 in Fort Worth, to Jack Sr. and Jeane Perse Tarvin. He was a 1966 graduate of Northside H.S. and served in the U.S.Army. Upon returning, Jack earned a B.A. in English and History from Texas Wesleyan College.
Jack began his lifelong work in restoration with Blackmon Mooring as general manager. He also worked with Puma Technologies before opening his own business, MBA Technologies in 1997.
Jack was an avid reader and writer authoring numerous pieces about the trade industry and military subjects and publishing “What Did You Do in the Cold War Daddy” with good friend, Ed Paquette. He is remembered as witty and humorous – the family entertainer.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, B.J. Tarvin; daughter, Kimberly Tipton and husband, Steven and their daughters, Ashlyn and Abigail; mother, Jeane Tarvin; and sister, Jan Granger and husband, John.
