Obituary of Elizabeth Brown Govednik

Lisa Govednik, a caring wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend, joined our heavenly Father on August 9, 2021 at the age of 61.Born June 6, 1960, she attended Teas A&M University in the study of Political Science and married her high school sweetheart soon after college. She started her career in support of her husband in the air Force and worked at USAA. She had two children and supported the community both as a Child Advocate and a school teacher.Lisa loved spending time with her family. She was a kind woman who would do anything for someone in need. She believed deeply in the Lord which sustained her through tough times. She build a beautiful life with her husband filled with love and adventure.Lisa is survived by her husband, Frank Govednik; children, Derek and Olivia Govednik; parents, John and Margaret Brown; siblings, Michael Brown, Mary Hermes and Mark Brown. She has joined her brother Patrick Brown in the Lord’s Kingdom.
