Obituary of Alfred Ronald Daniell

Alfred Ronald Daniell, M.D., 85 a retired internal medicine physician died in Fort Worth on December 27th, 2021.Survivors: Wife, Juana Rosa Daniell; niece, Stacy Dellasega, her husband Steve and their children Erin and Austin of Fort Worth, TX. Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Scharlyn Ribble, of Lubbock TX.Ron was born March 27, 1936 in Brownfield, Texas where he lived until finishing high school. In 1957 he received a B.A. degree from Baylor University in Waco. In 1961 he received his M.D. degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Ron interned at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. From 1962 to 1964 he served in the USAF in Shemya, Alaska and Travis AFB in California. He returned to Galveston for his specialty training in internal medicine. He moved to Fort Worth in 1967 and practiced at the Lorimer clinic until it merged with other groups to form The Medical Clinic of North Texas. Ron and Juana Rosa married in 1992 and traveled extensively visiting many locations around the world and were active supporters of the performing arts in Fort Worth. Ron was a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and the Fort Worth Club. His interest included music, playing the piano from an early age and later active in the band both in high school and college. He loved swimming, playing tennis and racquetball and was an avid scuba diver and underwater photographer for many years. He had a special interest in travel, photography, history, gardening and classical music events in Fort Worth.
