Obituary of Angela Christine Uptmore

Angela “Wo” Christine Uptmore of Fort Worth, Texas, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and dear friend to many passed away Wednesday June 30, 2021.Born November 25, 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas to Andrew Uptmore and Bitha “Chris” Uptmore, Angela graduated from UTA Arlington with a degree in Fine Arts. She was an amazing artist and enjoyed gifting her drawings for others to enjoy.Angela had the biggest heart and cared for her friends, family and her animals with all that she had. She participated in the following volunteer groups: Animal Refuge Foundation, Food Bank, and the Humane Society. She was a big sports fan but an even bigger cheerleader for her loved ones and those she worked beside. Angela was a big kid at heart with a sharp sense of humor. She was most happy with a dog by her side and even better if there were two. She enjoyed sending mail to loved ones to brighten their day and would often add her signature mark, a single stick of gum. Angela was a ray of sunshine and she will be deeply missed by all that knew her.Angela was reunited in heaven with her mother, Bitha “Chris” Uptmore, and sisters, Marry Ann Uptmore and Rita Joy Uptmore.Angela is survived by her father, Andrew Uptmore; brothers, Andrew Uptmore Jr. and wife, Angel, Michael Uptmore and wife, Karen, David Uptmore and wife, Tami; sisters, Sherrie Dast and husband, Bill, Paula Moore and husband, Terry, and Anna Stapleton. Angela had twelve nieces and nephews and eleven great nieces and nephews.
