Obituary of Philip John Biancalana
Phil Biancalana died peacefully on Saturday evening, October 7, 2017 surrounded by his wife, daughters, parents and siblings.Philip John Biancalana was born on July 17, 1967, in Chicago, IL, to Ralph Peter and Joanne Kamola Biancalana, and the family soon moved to Houston. He graduated from Klein Forest High School in 1985. Phil earned a BBA from Baylor University in 1989. He met Cindy Chesser in Atlanta and they were married on November 29,1997. Phil moved his family to Fort Worth in 2006 to take a position with Alcon Lab and was a National Surgical Consultant at the time of his death. Phil spent his entire career in the advancement of retinal surgery, creating four patents in retinal equipment.Phil shared his love for golfing, traveling and smoking on his Big Green Egg. His daughter Bailey loved spending time with her dad and attended many outdoor festivals and sporting events with him. He taught Brooke how to golf and she is a freshman on the Varsity Golf Team at Keller High School.He is survived by Cindy, his wife of nearly 20 years, and their daughters, Bailey and Brooke; parents, Ralph and Joanne Biancalana; brother, Ralph and Elen Biancalana; sister, Diane and Tom Alesi, and their children, Kathryn and Thomas; and Cindy’s family, Tom and Edna Ivey, Ronnie and Darlene Chesser, and Eddie and Virginia Chesser.
