Obituary of Cruz Rodriguez

Cruz Rodriguez, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.Cruz was raised in San Benito, Texas one of 15 children born to Jesus and Hermelinda Rodriguez. She moved to the Dallas-area in the early 1970s, raising her family in Irving. She loved going to high school football games, making lemon meringue pies for holiday dinners and laughing with her siblings.She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Hermelinda Rodriguez, and siblings, Regino Rodriguez, Eugenio Rodriguez, Michaela Rodriguez, Lauro Rodriguez and Estella Santos.She is survived by her spouse of 45 years, Ramon Sauceda; children, Cynthia Sturns, Arnold Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez, Marcus Rodriguez, Christina Arthur and Bobbye Whited; grandchildren, Ashley, Julian, Alex, Sam, Erica and Rosie; siblings: Connie Salinas, Paulo Rodriguez, Ramon Rodriguez, Teresa Resendez, Ester Rodriguez, Alicia Rodriguez, Jaime Rodriguez, Irene Rodriguez and Roman Rodriguez ; lots of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews
