Obituary of James E. Davidson

James E. Davidson, M.D., died suddenly Tuesday morning, February 6, 2018.James Eugene Davidson was born on July 7, 1950 in Fort Worth to James Basil and Pauline Mae-Sergi Davidson. He graduated from St. Alice Catholic School, was a 1968 graduate of Nolan Catholic High School, earned a B.S. in Biology, magna cum laude from TCU in 1971, and an M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, graduating first in his class.Jim married his wife, Gay, on July 28, 1973 at Saint Patrick Cathedral. He began his career as an internist at the Lorimer Clinic, later known as the Medical Clinic of North Texas, retiring after 25 years.Post retirement, Jim enjoyed spending time with his wife, his children and his grandchildren, who were the lights of his life.Jim’s family would like to note their appreciation for Dr. Bernard McGowen and Dr. Asad Dean for their dedication to excellent medical care, and especially for their friendship.Jim is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gay Davidson and their children, Veronica Davidson Tucker and her husband, Aaron, and Adam Davidson and his wife, Jordan; grandchildren, Abby, Luke, Joey and Davidson Tucker, and Will, Connor and Knox Davidson; brother, Paul Davidson and his wife, Cindy; and sisters, Charlotte Davidson and Christine Snider; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
