Obituary of Matthew Ryan Suarez

Matthew Ryan Suarez, born April 21,1988, passed peacefully in his sleep on April 2, 2022.As a child Matthew loved all things sports, participating in baseball, basketball and football before pursuing his passion for bowling. His first perfect 300 game came at the age of 16 with many more 300’s to follow. Music also became a passion of his, leading him to band at Aledo High School where he became drum major his junior and senior years. After high school, Matt aspired to become an entrepreneur, realizing his dream with the opportunity to purchase a pub. Working side by side with his mom and dad was a blessing and The Abbey Pub was created.Matt is survived by his loving family and many friends who he considered family. In words shared from his friends… It was difficult to NOT love Matt. You were hooked the minute he let out his raspy laugh, said something extremely sarcastic and followed that with a big bear hug. He always cared about your day, how you were (and meant it), and always let you know that he loved you before ending a call, text, or conversation. Matt was caring… he cared deeply for his parents, his family and friends, The Abbey Pub, The Abbey Pub family(staff), The Abbey regulars, and the Denver Broncos.Survivors: Parents: Kelle and Jimmy Suarez; aunts and uncles, Tommy Stewart and wife Anne, Bobby Suarez and wife Jill, Michael Suarez and wife Sherry, Raymond Suarez and wife Kelly, Nancy Garcia and husband Rene’, and Kelley Suarez; many cousins and extended family and friends.Son, we will miss you every moment of every day, but we take comfort in knowing that we will be together again. Rest Peacefully.Love, Mom and Dad
