Obituary of Jennifer Claire Campbell Parsons

Jennifer “Jenna” Claire Parsons passed away on February 24, 2019 after a mighty 8-year battle with lymphoma.Jenna was born on September 15, 1946 in Dallas to Bill and Mariane Wade Campbell. Her family lived in Houston for 8 years where they enjoyed camping and fishing on the beach.She worked in reservations for American Airlines for 20 years and she also filled her time as a Girl Scout leader, by sewing costumes for dance recitals and school plays, and organizing Halloween carnivals for her kids’ elementary school.The Parsons family owned and worked at a flower shop in Fort Worth, enjoying decorating and making the world a more beautiful place. Jenna and Michael did the Christmas decorations at Ridglea Country Club for over 20 years. She also loved to paint.She will be dearly missed for her kind, giving nature.She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Michael Parsons; son, Michael “Bunky” Parsons; daughter, Nita Parsons; and grandson, Andrew Pack.She is survived by her daughters, Amie McCord and husband, Tommy; Julie Parsons-Langham and husband, Brandon; grandchildren, Matthew Parsons and husband, Carlos Vargas; Ashlyn Pack, Austin Pack, Aaron Pack, Clayton Parsons, and Laura Sapp; sisters, Carla Campbell, Stacy Jay, and Kendall Herring; brothers, Chris and Drew Campbell.
