Obituary of Robert Elvis Hurt

Robert Elvis (Bob) Hurt, 87, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 in Rogers, Arkansas.Born September 28, 1931 in Longview, Texas, Bob graduated from Paschal High School and Texas Wesleyan University. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1951-1955 and worked for the Dr. Pepper Company from 1958 – 1970 as a Zone Manager and Franchise Contract Manager. He was a member of the Methodist Church, a Mason and a Shriner.Bob pursued his passion for photography from 1965 until his recent retirement. He traveled throughout Texas and Arkansas taking individual, school and team athletic photos. He would frequently say “You’ll Like That” and “The best picture that was ever taken was the one the customer liked.” He considered the coaches and band directors at the schools to be part of his family.Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Greta.
