Obituary of Robert Wayne Young
Robert “Wayne” Young, 55, of Arlington, passed away unexpectedly December 6, 2020 as a result of complications due to Covid-19.Wayne was born on January 24, 1965 in Arlington, TX to Jeannie and Robert Young. He graduated with the class of 1985 from Sam Houston High School in Arlington and later received his A&P certification that started his lifelong career with helicopters.As a career helicopter technician he traveled the world, spreading his infectious charm to all he encountered. Wayne was a proud member of The Texas Army National Guard, a lifelong sports fan, metal head, and a true firearms aficionado.Wayne had a warm and loving heart and easily befriended all he encountered, no matter the species.He is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, Michele and their furry little girls, Emmy and Lolo; mother Jeannie Young Ball; brother Gary D Young; brother and sister-in-law Paul and Angela Wilson and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and friends everywhere he landed. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Clyde Young; and grandparents, Bonnie and Nelson Keen, and Frankie and Robert Hardy Young Jr.
