Obituary of Virginia Frances Hagemeier Carden

Virginia Frances Hagemeier Carden, 97, died Friday, November 24, 2017.Virginia was born March 24, 1920 in Commerce, Texas, the daughter of Rev. Henry and Kathrine (Rathgeber) Hagemeier. She was a graduate of Paschal High School and graduated from TCU with her mother in 1941.After working for the All Church Press for 14 years, she earned her nursing home administrators license and worked for Stanford Convalescent Centers for 25 years. She was a long-time member and volunteer at First Christian Church and a member of the Altrusa Club of Fort Worth. She also volunteered for the Senior Citizen Fair.She was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Carden.Survivors: Virginia is survived by her nieces and nephews, her step-children, and their families.
