Jacqueline Helene Jullien Rice, 89, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017.Jacqueline was born November 20, 1927 in Orleans, France, the daughter of Robert and Helen Boulay Jullien. She grew up in France and met Monroe Rice while he was stationed there during WW II. They were married in 1947, lived in Clarksville, Texas for 3 years, then moved to Fort Worth. Jacqueline improved her English by working at a local 5 & 10 Store and she and Monroe adopted two children from Germany through Catholic Charities. She finished her career working at M Bank. Jacqueline and Monroe also enjoyed square dancing and she enjoyed growing plants in the Japanese Garden Club.A devout Catholic, Jacqueline attended St. Mary of the Assumption and currently was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Monroe C. Rice, and her brother, Jacques Jullien.Survivors: Daughter, Caroline Perrin and husband, Ron; son, Gary Rice and wife, Mariana; grandchildren, Bradly Perrin, Robert Perrin and wife, Angel, Tara Arreola, Tony Briseno and wife, Sharon, Zachary Briseno and wife, Stacey, Roman Mercado and wife, Dani; ten great grandchildren and one on the way.
