Obituary of Taylor Phillip Corbett

Taylor Phillip Corbett, 31, a devoted husband, brother, son, and friend, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022.

Visitation: 5 pm – 7 pm Thursday, August 25, Thompson’s Harveson & Cole, 4350 River Oaks Blvd, Fort Worth, TX.

Service: 10 am Friday, August 26 Thompson’s Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd, Fort Worth, TX.

Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum, Fort Worth, will be private.

Taylor was born on July 1, 1991, in Fort Worth to Tim and Carrie Corbett. Taylor attended St. Andrew Catholic School and Nolan High School (class of 2009). He graduated from UTA with a B.S. Information Systems in 2013, after attending OU. Taylor was an associate at Alcon on the Marlo Digital Customer Experience team. Taylor met the love of his life in 2017 (Ashley) and they married in Dec ’20. Taylor and Ashley traveled, lived in Fort Worth, and were starting their life as newlyweds. Taylor lived each day with purpose, he was adventurous, fun-loving, loyal, and kind. He found joy in everyday events, especially birthdays, and cherished a very special bond with his brother (Colton), family and close friends. Taylor loved traveling to new places, amusement parks, music, art, and spending time with lifelong friends and family. Taylor will also be remembered by those who love him for his wonderful affinity for quirky eccentric fashion that he wore with complete confidence – bright plaid suits, velvet jackets, or floppy golf hats. He was a beautiful person who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors: Wife, Ashley Burns Corbett; parents, Tim and Carrie Corbett; brother, Colton Corbett and wife Amanda; maternal grandfather, Charles Rutherford; beloved dogs, Beauregard (Beau) and D’Artagnan (D’Art); and a host of extended family and friends.

Memorials in honor of Taylor may be made to Cooks Children’s Health Foundation, Fort Worth.
