Thought I would share the post I placed on FB Friday night as not all can see: Tonight I stood in my closet trying to decide what colorful outfit might best exemplify the joy and light you brought to this world for tomorrow’s celebration of you - but nothing is quite vibrant or beautiful enough. ❤️ I’ve hesitated to write on your page before now because it just hasn’t seemed real that you are gone. I have been holding to the denial and feeling you are just on a trip or an adventure and I’ll see you soon. And I haven’t really cried until tonight. I know I didn’t have the honor of having you in my life for that many years, but girl you left your mark. You were one of the kindest, truest woman I have had the honor of knowing. You were purely good. Thank you for blessing me with your spririt and love. It is a testament to someone’s life when you can truthfully say “I needed more Katerina (as I knew her)/Kathryn in my life! Things will always be a little less bright and beautiful without you here. I’ll do my best to bring you into everyday with a little more joy and color. Thank you for blessing me with your friendship and love. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
