To the Pearcy family; Dan and I were the best of friends during our childhood on Cactus Lane in Olney, TX. Dan, along with Dale Lovett, Steve Lovett , John Grimshaw, and myself made up a group of close buddies who played many a game of football and the always popular "war games". A.R. (a big kid himself) would frequently join our "war games". I had not had any contact with Dan for many years and like so many friendships in our lives, I regret that fact. I'm sure Dan was a good family man and a credit to the community, as those traits were there when I knew him. May God bless the entire Pearcy family. I know Dan will be missed by everyone.
