Obituary of Geraldine Cloer Teeter

Geraldine (Gerry) Raye Cloer Teeter, 84, passed away April 26, 2023, in Burleson, Texas surrounded by family.

Funeral: 1:00 pm on Monday, May 1st at The Fountains Fellowship in Crowley, Texas.

Visitation:  Sunday, April 30th from 4-6pm at The Fountains Fellowship.  

Interment: Crowley Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Matthew Teeter, Aaron Teeter, Maxwell Teeter, Wesley Teeter, Hunter Tatum, Kent Little, David Hargrave and Rick Wilshire.

Gerry was born September 7, 1938, in Fort Worth. She graduated from Paschal and attended the University of Texas. Gerry owned a dress shop, Gerry’s Fashion Set, in Crowley, Texas, for many years. Gerry was extremely involved in the community holding positions of President of both PTA and Chamber of Commerce. Gerry (Mamo) loved the Lord and spending time with her family, especially at the lake house. She made it a priority to stay in touch with many of her lifelong friends and cherished the time they spent together. She was a member of First Baptist Crowley for many years and The Fountains Fellowship since 2009.

Gerry was preceded in death by her husband, George Wadsworth Teeter, and parents, Edward and Ruth Cloer.

Survivors: Sons- Keith Teeter and wife Patty; Brent Teeter; Daughter- Gayle Teeter; Grandchildren Matt Teeter (Karen), Aaron Teeter (Catherine), Max Teeter (Sophie), Wesley Teeter, Madison Alford (fiance Stephen), Mallory Alford, Hunter Tatum, Seven Great Grandchildren, and Sister- Karen Lindsey and many other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Fountains Fellowship, Powerhouse Foundation or a charity of your choice.
