I did not get to know Joan well but my wife, Rose, connected to her because Joan’s spirit was so much like her own mom - a strong, principled, mother of a large family. What I did not know of Joan was beautifully recounted by so many friends and family at her wake yesterday that I could understand what a profound, monumental figure she cut in the lives of so many. Alli can say is “well done Mrs Kline”. We will continue to see you in the many lives you touched.
