I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Terry. She was always a joyful, caring woman. She was a bright light in my day every time I had the privilege of volunteering with her. I unfortunately did not know you well, but I know that you raised a wonderful family. We didn't interact much, but every time we did I left with a feeling of "that was a first class lady." We first met Terry in Omaha Nebraska during an Air Show at Offutt Air Force Base. Well not exactly at the Airbase; but when we returned home to find our son Jim, his girl friend Kim (the future Mrs Kim Griffiths), Terry, and Dave sitting on the roof of our home watching airplanes fly over and having a wonderful time. It was a bit of a surprise; and a wee bit awkward; but we found Terry and Dave to be very excited to see our Air Force showing off and entertaining the crowds. Once back on the ground we formally introduced ourselves. We’ve come to know and love Terry as our families merged; sharing the love of our grand children, son and daughter. We enjoyed each time we would visit and spend time with her. We became ‘family’ to her. It is clear the love, talent, strength, and grace permeated the very fabric of her children and grandchildren. What a great mother and Grammy to have in their lives. We have been blessed to know Terry and will miss her greatly.
