Obituary of Cheryl Denise Mandoni Brinkley

Cheryl Denise Brinkley passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 20, 2024 in Fort Worth. 

Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole, 4350 River Oaks Blvd.

Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole, 4350 River Oaks Blvd.

Interment: Medlin Cemetery. 

Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials may be given to the Humane Society of North Texas. 

Cheryl was born May 28, 1952 to Thomas and Mary Mandoni.  She grew up in the Poly area of Fort Worth and graduated from Trimble Tech High School in 1970.  After studying early childhood development at TCJC, she opened a day care facility in Rendon.  She later develped a passion for floral design and subsequently opened two florist shops in Fort Worth and Hurst and worked at Central Market as a florist for 22 years.  

She married Phil Brinkley Sr. who she called "the love of my life" in 1981.  They were married for 43 years.  

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Phil; brother, Reggie Mandoni; their children, Kandi Bonham, Phil Brinkley Jr. and wife, Sarah, and Warren Brinkley; three grandchildren, Bailey, John and Mallory Brinkley; four great grandchildren; and many close friends who were like family.
