Dick, fondly nicknamed “Bird,” by his classmates, was a cherished fellow of mine in our years of Oblate and priestly formation. I remember him as friendly and lots of fun. He was outstandingly athletic and admired. I had always wondered about his life after his choosing another path in it. I now mourn his passing while I am thankful for his marvelous success
Sweet girls - there has never been a better man than your dad! He was a blessing to everyone who knew him - I am so glad he is back with your mom! Love you guys!
Dick was one of the finest men I worked with at NCHS. He was also at my Lumen Christi Catholic HS in Jackson, Mich.with the Oblates we discovered. . Mary & family, you have my prayers & an advocate in Heaven I’m sure!
