Richard had a way of making everyone smile. I don’t recall him ever being (intentionally haha) impolite. Everyone knew he was a jokester with a wry sense of humor and an uncanny ability to tease the weak, such as myself. I lived for his witty comebacks and tongue in cheek comments. JoAnne, the love of his life, had a unique ability to thrive in his company and match his verbal sparring with gentleness and strength. Never were a two so complementary. Richard knew his wife was his strength and icon, and he was hers. He was a friend beyond measure, always knowing what to say, and what not to say. Richard was a loving father, a strong father, a leader, a man of integrity, the best neighbor ever, a friend more like family. He will always remain a treasure in my heart, as well as the hearts of my children. Love always you, Jennifer, James, & Jordan Taylor
