Dustin Wayne Bozarth was born on September 17th 1979 in Norman, Oklahoma to Pamela and Anthony Bozarth. Known as “Bo or Dbo” to many from the baseball diamond to the oilfields, he was a diligent worker, team player, and adoring father. He passed Sunday June 16th and is preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Pasquena and Harold Yokum.

After graduating from Westmoore High school in 1998, he went on to play baseball at Wichita State University. During his summers, Dustin played in the Jayhawk Collegiate League, for the Liberal Bee Jays. There, he met his future devoted wife, Cara McKenna Swanson, in her hometown of Liberal, Kansas. Shortly after, Dustin received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas Arlington.

Post graduation, he was drafted by the Giants organization to play baseball for one year.  Cara and Dustin were married on December 31, 2004. They were blessed with their two amazing children, Luke Swanson, born January 15, 2009 and Margaret Janae, born October 13, 2010. In 2008 his cousin, Craig Smith ushered him into the oilfield industry leading him to his most current position of Director of Sales and Marketing for Black Mountain Sand.

Dustin is remembered for his love of the outdoors both hunting and fishing, and his greatest passion of watching and participating with his kids in all their activities.  He found true joy in coaching everything from baseball and football to softball. Most recently, he pioneered the Paschal Football Club which fostered parental involvement and created enthusiasm for the players and the school; an ongoing effort that was a source of great pride for him.

Dustin is survived by his wife, Cara McKenna Bozarth; son, Luke Swanson Bozarth; daughter, Margaret Janae Bozarth; parents, Pamela and Anthony Bozarth; sister, Amy and husband Eric Urbach; niece Stephanie, husband Dalton Bell and niece Elowyn and nephews Carsten and Ripkin; nephew Shawn Chilvers; brother Jeff and wife Sarah Bozarth and nephew Jacob; sister-in-law Janae Bennett, brother-in-law Jeff Bennett and nephews Evan, Landon and Parker; father and mother-in-law Greg and Mary Lee Swanson.
