It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved cousin, Bill who left us unexpectedly at the age of 64. Born in Uruguay, Bill was a cherished member of our family, known for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for those around him. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie and their beloved daughter, Anna who brought immense joy to his life. A passionate horse lover, Bill found solace and happiness in the company of these magnificent creatures, which were a reflection of his adventurous spirit and zest for life. As we remember Bill we celebrate the beautiful memories he created with his family and friends. His laughter, stories, and love will forever remain in our hearts. I will always treasure the good memories and wonderful times we shared. He often affectionately called me "vieja“ reminding me of the special bond we held. His laughter and stories will forever resonate in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear cousin. You will be deeply missed.

Bill was such a sweet man. I remember one time I was sitting outside Oakridge, waiting to be picked up from school and he walked up to me and said "You look like you could use this" he then handed me a burger king toy. It was a little plastic Sponge bob and I know I still have it somewhere. He was such a genuine fellow and loved to make people smile.

I also worked in the same BK office as Bill along with two of the families very large Great Danes , Sancho and Gaucho. Many a salemen who entered our office unannounced were very startled by the sudden apperance of Sancho and Gauch and their very loud greetings. What I remember most about Bill was his big heart , his work ethic, integrity, and our friendship. He was a real tribute to his parents , Stephanie and Anna. Gary Shultz

Querida familia, aunque aún no reuní el coraje para llamarlos, quiero que sepan cuanto siento esta tragedia. Cuando ustedes se fueron del país dejaron un vacío en cada uno de los que dejaron atrás y nuestra familia se volvió mucho más pequeña. Yo todavía atesoro un pequeño papelito que Billy dibujó el día de su partida de Uruguay y a pesar de mi corta edad todavía tengo un vago recuerdo de la tristeza que sentí aquel día. Hubiera deseado que la vida nos brindara más oportunidades de reencontrarnos. Se que no existen palabras para mitigar el dolor que siente su madre, su hija, su esposa y sus hermanas, pero sí que me gustaría que todas ellas supieran que siento mucho no poder abrazarlas en este momento. Las quiero mucho.

Bill and I along with other students from Austin College used to spend long nights at Denny’s in Sherman studying for tests. I can’t forget his little convertible that he had back then. Always genuine and with a smile. I’m saddened that this happened to him and for his family, he was still so young. As another Kappa that loved his companionship
