Obituary of Balvina Segura Garza

Balvina Garza passed away February 28, 2025. 

Visitation: 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025 with a Vigil Service at 4:30 p.m. at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. 

Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home.

Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. 

Balvina Garza left this earth peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on February 28, 2025.  

Her life on this earth was shortened but full of experiences. 

Anyone that had the opportunity to meet her knew her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy.   

While she has departed her physical body we take comfort in knowing we will see her again because “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” (Cor. 5:8)

Balvina will still live  through her 2 children, Yobanka Larios ( husband Michael Zabel) and son Muhammed Altoky , her grandchildren Alexander Larios, Jullian Larios and Trinity Luera ; she left 12 siblings and several nieces and nephews .
