
Obituary of Craig Alan Barrett
Craig Alan Barrett, 68, of Azle, Texas, passed away on April 22, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd.
He was born on May 7, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas to Tommie Gene Barrett and Bessie Barrett. Craig was a devoted husband, father, Paw-Paw, brother, and uncle. Craig will be remembered for his witty humor, grouchy moods, and unwavering love for his family. He continuously opened his heart without hesitation. Craig was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his Queenie and wife of 48 years, Daniece; son, Mikael Barrett (Keith Edwards); daughter Mandi Renfro (Chris); son Zackary Barrett; grandchildren Tye and Cade Renfro; sister Kaye Lynn Judd (Edgar); aunt Marcella Watson; loving nieces and nephews Lacy Iglesias (Chris, Max & Briar); Lora Paschal (Kamryn & Kaesyn); Jason Judd; Whitney Klaassen (Canaan); Steven Brown (Dawn, Amelia & Eleanor); Sarah Breedlove (Chris, Jacob, Aiden & Olivia); numerous other family and friends, as well as his forever companions Champ and Spade.
Craig set the bar high with his work ethic having a successful career at Tasty Bakeries, Tarrant Beer, Miller Distributing, and UPS. Following a lifelong dream, Craig became a Registered Nurse and retired after 16 years of dedicated service at John Peter Smith Hospital.
