Obituary of Bettye Ann Prince Marsh

Bettye Ann (Prince) Marsh, 93, passed away in the care of hospice on April 26, 2025.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd.

Interment: Noon on Monday, May 19, 2025 in Bangs Cemetery, Bangs, Texas.

Bettye was born April 18, 1932 in Bangs, Texas, the daughter of late Joseph Cyril and Virgie Maggie (Fields) Prince. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Earl Marsh, her son, David Eugene Marsh Sr., and grandson, Jonathan Michael Marsh.  

Survivors are son, Don Loyd Westfall; daughter, Diana (Westfall) Julian and husband, Marvin; grandchildren, David Eugene Marsh Jr, Christopher Westfall, Gabriel Westfall, Savanah Westfall, Kaelan Westfall, Sarah (Adamson) Grimmer and husband, Samuel, Aaron Adamson and wife, Kensey; and eleven great-grandchildren.

A graduate of Bangs High School,  she attended business college to learn skills to be an executive secretary for Bell Helicopter in Fort Worth. Afterwards, she worked alongside her husband to run Southwest Polygraph Services for almost 50 years.

Betty was a long-standing member of Sagamore Hill Baptist Church and served in the Bible Study Fellowship children’s teaching ministry for many years. She was also active in bible study Women in the Word with her daughter at Christ Chapel Bible Church. Her legacy touched the lives of many.
