William Donald Martin Jr., 69, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025.

Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76114. Interment: Private.

Memorials: Gifts in Don's memory may be made to the First Street Methodist Mission, 801 W. First St., Fort Worth, Texas 76102.

Don was born April 30, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas, son of the late William D. Martin and Helen Love Martin. He enjoyed long bike rides along the Trinity River and photography. He loved the New York Yankees and traveling as a military brat. In his later years, he visited Yankee Stadium and traveled back to England with his daughter, though he regretted not making it back to Taipei.

Don graduated from Paschal High School with the class of 1974. Settling down, he worked for Campo Electronics in the southeastern US and then became an inventory control manager for Ben E. Keith Beverages in Fort Worth retiring after 23 years of service. Don was a devoted father and grandfather, affectionately known as Papa. He was his daughter’s biggest cheerleader. He will be sorely missed.

Don was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristina Michelle Martin; and grandson, Ryan William Davis, Jr.; siblings, Donna Louise Martin and Michael Dennis Martin; and extended family members.

Our family thanks the staff of the Baylor All Saints Hospital and the Heart to Heart Hospice for their care.
