Obituary of Sally Anne Keahey Weaver

Sally Anne Keahey Weaver, 80, died on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 with her family at her side.Sally Anne Keahey Weaver was born on July 7, 1938 in San Antonio. She went to school in San Antonio until she met Lonnie L. Weaver Jr. They were married February 14, 1953 at St. Mary Catholic Church in San Antonio and have been married 65 years. In 1955 the first of their three children, Lonnie III was born followed by Robert and Catherine. Sally and Lonnie moved many times until they settled in Houston where she became very involved in activities at Sacred Hearth C0-Cathedral Catholic Church and the Houston Catholic diocese even to becoming a member of the Houston DCCW Society.In 1981, they moved to the DFW area when Lonnie was transferred to the area by IBM. She became a member of the Knights and Ladies of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem in 1989 and was an active member since that date as a member of the Southwestern Lieutenancy. She attained the rank of Lady Grand Cross of the Holy Sepulchre.She was a strong supporter of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree since 1986 when Lonnie became part of the Master’s Staff Color Corps and Exemplifications. She participated in activities of the Third Texas District Exemplar team. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl Bolton Keahey and Conrad Keahey; brother, Conrad Keahey Jr.; and her elder son, Lonnie L. Weaver III.Survivors: Husband, Lonnie L. Weaver Jr.; son, Robert Walter Weaver and wife, Pamela; daughter, Catherine Annette Bussen and husband, Tim; grandsons, Trent Belmont Weaver and Anthony James Bussen; granddaughter, Kelly Marie Bussen; and great grandson, Murdock Bussen.
