Obituary of Charles Goel McCoy

Charles Goel McCoy, 90, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at his home.Charles was born in Fort Worth, the first son of Edward G. McCoy and Thelma L. McCoy. He grew up in Fort Worth, graduating from Paschal High School in 1948. He graduated from TCU with a BA in Math in 1952, proudly served in the U. S. Navy, 1952 – 1956, attended the University of Texas 1956 – 1958, graduating with a BBA.Charles met Barbara Liverman in 1963 and married in 1964. He was employed for several years in the Texas Oil Services industry and later owned and operated a successful accounting and tax services business. Charles retired in 2008.He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bobby Joe McCoy.He is survived by his beautiful and loving wife, Barbara; daughters, Ann Stella and husband John, Nancy Trimble and husband David; son Tim McCoy and wife Mary. Grandsons: Torre, Josh and wife Ashley, and John Mark Stella, Brandon Trimble, Charlie McCoy, granddaughter, Caroline Stella and great-grandson, Luca Stella.
