Obituary of Doris Wilma Brown Moore

Doris W. Moore passed peacefully on Wednesday October 3, 2018.Doris was born August 11, 1929 in Bonham to the late Richard and Susan Brown. She attended high school in Bonham and business college in Fort Worth. On September 9, 1949 she married John Charles Moore in Bonham.Doris worked at Williamson-Dickie for two years and at Texas Electric in customer service for 35 years. She was very proud to have studied public relations at TCU.She and John Charles were active members of the Order of Eastern Star where she held local and state offices. They also loved dancing, including square and round dancing, and were long time members of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Later, Doris became a member of Southcliff Baptist Church.Doris was preceded in death by her husband, John Charles Moore.Survivors include her children, Jeanine Wittig and John Charles Moore, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
