Obituary of Evangeline McDaniel
Evangeline McDaniel, 89, passed away in her home Friday, April 17, 2020 in Fort Worth with her family by her side.Vangie, as she was fondly called, was born August 5, 1930 in Gleason, TN. to Russell K. and Clara B. Dinning. A graduate of Murray State University in KY. and a resident of Alvin, TX. for 35 years, Vangie was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, a Stephen Minister and bank director. Mrs. McDaniel retired to Hot Springs Village AR. with her husband Dr. William McDaniel where they enjoyed their close friends and church lives at Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church. She later moved to Robson Ranch in Denton, TX. where she enjoyed crafting custom greeting cards, gardening and the company of her husband of 46 years , Dr. William McDaniel and her parents, Russell K. and Clara B. Dinning.Survivors: Her brother, Roland Dinning (Celia), daughter, Rhonda Keithley (Gary), sons, William “Mac” McDaniel and Patrick McDaniel (Lisa), grandchildren, Amy Tubbs, Eric Keithley, Gary Tom Keithley, Chenay Strum, Hailey Archer, Rachel McDaniel, Matthew McDaniel and Darrian Jones, great grandchildren, Layton Tubbs, Landon Tubbs, Ella Keithley, Kinlee Keithley, Watson Strum, Parker Strum, Elliot Archer and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
