Obituary of Samuel Edward Cook

Samuel Edward “Ed” Cook Sr. died Wednesday, February 21, 2018.Samuel Edward Cook Sr. was born December 18, 1936 in Fort Worth, the son of Sam and Haydie Marie Schultz Cook. Ed, as he was known, was a 1954 graduate of Paschal High School and received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami in 1959. He was the president and CEO of Cook Drilling Company.Ed was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister, and his wife of 54 1/2 years, Abigail Webb Cook.Survivors: Children, Catherine Bernell Estrada and her husband, Robert A. Estrada, Esq., Samuel Edward “Sam” Cook Jr. and his wife, Dr. Susan Linder, and Bonnie Cook Mosier; grandchildren, Stephen Edward Mosier, Samuel Edward Cook III, and 5 step granddaughters; eight and soon to be nine precious great grandchildren.
