Obituary of Ruth Pierel Phillips

Ruth Anne Pierel Phillips died on December 8, 2018 at her home.Ruth was born on January 21, 1939 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to Emile and Emma Fafard Pierel. She was married to Harold Eugene “Gene” Phillips for 43 years until his death in April of this year.She was an accomplished artist, doing wonderful things with paint, needle and thread. The above image is one of her creations. Ruth was a Signature Member of the Southwestern Watercolor Society and a member of Amon Carter Museum, Kimbell Museum, Fort Worth Botanical Gardens and the American Sewing Guild.She is survived by 2 stepchildren, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of other extended family members.
