Obituary of Anita Jeanette Anderson Franko

Anita Jeanette Anderson Franko, wonderful wife and mother, lost her battle with metastatic breast cancer on Saturday May 15, 2021, at the age of 66.Anita was born June 11th, 1954 in Amarillo, Texas to Olive Christina Hawton and Jimmy Carl Anderson. After moving several times for her father’s job assignments, she settled with them in Dallas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1977 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art. Anita worked as a project traffic manager at several advertising firms in the Dallas area. Anita met the love of her life Mr. Michael Joseph Franko at a football watching party in Dallas hosted by his brother, a mutual friend. After a courtship, the two were married January 13th, 1996. Anita then took her favorite job, being a wife to Michael and mother to their daughter Anna Christina Franko. Anita enjoyed traveling, making art, and visiting with her friends and family. She fought a brave battle with breast cancer once in 2003, and again in 2020.She is loved and will be dearly missed by her husband, Michael, and daughter, Anna, as well as her family in-law, Stephen Franko, Mary Helen Franko, John and Cathy Franko, James and Carol Franko, and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
