Obituary of John Michael White

John Michael White, known to most as Mickey, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 from surgery complications. Mickey was born to John Wesley White and Ailene Greer White on June 24, 1946.Mickey worked as a patrol officer for the Fort Worth Police Department but soon learned that his career would be at General Dynamics later known as Lockheed Martin. During his career at Lockheed Martin Mickey worked as a supervisor, a plastic pattern maker and a plastic tool maker. He retired from Lockheed Martin in 2007.Mickey was a loving husband to his wife Trish for 41 years. He was a father to three children; Jerry, Amy and Angela. He was a grandfather to three grandchildren; Ashleigh, Marisa and Baylee. It was well known that the love of his life was his great-granddaughter Kennedy, who called him Poppy.Mickey loved the Lord and shared the word of God with many.Mickey was preceded in death by his mother, Ailene Greer White, and his father, John Wesley White, as well as his daughter, Amy White Castillo.He is survived by his wife, Trish White; son, Jerry White; mother of two of his children, Beverly Holsomback; daughter, Angela White Manning; son-in-law, Michael Manning; sisters, Carol Hearne and Donna White; granddaughters, Ashleigh Phelps, Marisa Castillo and Baylee Moore; one great granddaughter, Kennedy Phelps; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
