Obituary of Karen Fletcher Duran

Karen Sue Fletcher Duran passed away December 2, 2022, surrounded by her precious family, just two days prior to her 75th birthday. 

Rosary / Prayer Service:  3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seeton.  A Celebration of Life dinner will be held at Solea Keller.

Private Interment.

Karen was born December 4, 1947 in Fort Worth to JC and Nancy Fletcher.  She graduated from Nolan High School in 1965 and later received her teaching degree from Texas Christian University.  She loved her students and co-workers at Natha Howell Elementary, where she taught a variety of grade levels. 

Her memberships included the Junior Woman's Club and the Woman's Club of Fort Worth, and her volunteer work with the prison ministry allowed her to give back to her beloved city of Fort Worth.   Her loves included good food, traveling the world, the Dallas Cowboys, and her family.

Karen was a wonderful daughter, mother, Gigi, and friend to all.  She was preceded in death her parents, JC and Nancy Fletcher, her brother, Randy, and her husband, Jorge Duran.

Survivors: daughters, Natalie Dennehey and husband, Chad; Aimee Pilz; grandchildren, Madeline and Matthew Dennehey and Charlotte Zuber; and many friends near and far.
