Obituary of Theresa Geiger Ramsey

Theresa “Terry” Louise Geiger Ramsey, 88, passed into eternal rest March 9, 2023.

Terry was born March 21, 1934, to Gilbert A. and Letitia W. Geiger in Bay City, Texas. On May 26, 1956, she married Ben Warner Ramsey. They resided in Kansas City, New York, and New Orleans before moving to Fort Worth in 1973. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church for nearly 50 years serving the church in many capacities. In 2010 she retired from Alcon Laboratories after working as an administrative assistant in the Research and Development Surgical IOL Department.

Terry was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed gardening and cooking. She loved planning and hosting special family gatherings with her daughters-in-love, creating many wonderful family memories.

Terry was preceded in death by her husband, Ben, and four siblings. She is survived by sons, Lawrence Mason Ramsey (Amanda) and Clayton Lewis Ramsey (Mary); grandchildren Michelle Gibbs (Bobby), Cameron Olvey (Drew) and Robert Stuart Ramsey; three great-granddaughters, Trinity, Harper and Everleigh Gibbs; sisters, Emmalee Geiger McRoberts and Suelynn Geiger Wilbur and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Terry’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on March 16, 2023, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3401 Bellaire Drive S, Fort Worth, Texas 76109.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tarrant Area Food Bank, Shriners Hospitals for Children or a charity of choice.
