Cecilia will always be in my heart. She was such a special person. We were both in health care and became friends. She was the finest example of how class has nothing to do with wealth I have ever known. She lived in a modest home in Fort Worth. She was sweet, considerate, and generous to a fault - such a lady. We loved going to restaurants together. Our favorites included the original Hedary's in Fort Worth and a Spanish restaurant called La Gitana in Dallas where dinner was accompanied by a Flamenco guitar player. She was a joy to be with. I"m so sorry to have lost track of her when I moved out of the area.
Part of my evening ritual now is listening to relaxing piano music. When I close my eyes and listen I can see Cecilia's face smiling and I imagine it is she who is playing the piano. I miss my friend.. We need more special people like her.
